Proven to perform

Originally launched in 2015, the nVent RAYCHEM ETS-05 electronic thermostat product line provides accurate control for a wide variety of industrial heat tracing applications in hazardous areas. With tens of thousands of units sold since its launch, these high-performance thermostats protect a broad range of industrial processes around the world.

Central monitoring for assured safety

In response to evolving customer needs, nVent has equipped the ETS-05-AL thermostat with an extended voltage range of up to 277 volts and a relay for remote alarm monitoring. Plant operators are then able to identify faults in the central control room, resulting in faster and more effective fault resolution while also reducing in-field maintenance costs. The adjustable fail-safe feature gives operators the flexibility to fulfil the unique requirements of individual applications.

A robust solution built to last

The ETS-05 thermostat family is designed for long-term performance in rugged environments and is fully approved to ATEX and IECEx standards.

“At nVent, we connect and protect electrical systems, making them more efficient, more resilient and safer. We also aim to improve utilisation and reduce total cost of ownership,” states Robert Kuipers, nVent Product Manager, Industrial Control Solutions. “The addition of a remote monitoring feature to our successful ETS-05 thermostat will help protect people and property from the consequences of unidentified heat tracing faults, all while giving our customers a reliable solution that will meet their needs.”
