Garden State Expansion of existing gas pipeline is placed into service

The project provides firm transportation from Transco’s Zone 6 Station 210 Pooling Point in Mercer County, New Jersey, to a new interconnection on its Trenton Woodbury Lateral in Burlington County, NJ. It consisted of the installation of a new compressor station, meter and regulating station in Burlington County, NJ, in addition to modifications and the addition of compression at an existing Transco compressor station in New Jersey.

New Jersey Natural Gas provides service to more than half a million customers in New Jersey’s Monmouth, Ocean, Morris, Middlesex, Sussex and Burlington counties.

Transco, the nation’s largest-volume and fastest growing interstate natural gas pipeline system, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Williams Partners L.P. Transco delivers natural gas to customers through its 10 200 mile pipeline network whose mainline extends nearly 1800 miles between South Texas and New York City. The system is a major provider of cost-effective natural gas services that reaches US markets in 12 southeast and Atlantic seaboard states.
