IKM awarded contract by ENI Norway
IKM Testing has been awarded a frame agreement for subsea and topside services for the Goliat field in the Barents Sea by Eni Norway.
The contract extends over three years with options to extend for a further 4 years. Estimated total value of the contract is in excess of 500 million, including option periods.
The work is divided into two phases:
- Piping and process prior to commencement of field (preparation phase).
- Piping and process during operation of the field (operational phase).
Preparation phase starts immediately, and there will be significant work with engineering and commissioning of subsea pipelines and eventual completion of process systems.
Operation phase includes planning and execution of maintenance pigging and topside process support and maintenance services for pressure testing, nitrogen services, inspection services, steaming, mechanical, chemical cleaning, hot oil flushing, hydro jetting, tightening bolts etc.
Through the contract, IKM Testing has used his multi-disciplinary expertise in a wide range of its services. Headquarteres in Sola will account for most of the engineering and preparatory work, while several executive assignments will be organised through the branch office in Hammerfest.
