Fulkrum, a leading provider of inspection, expediting, auditing and technical staffing to the energy industry, has appointed Julie Garner as the new Coordination Manager of the Houston branch to lead regional projects and support clients in the US.

Working in the oil and gas industry for over 15 years, Julie has a wealth of experience in managing and coordinating projects for key leaders in the inspection industry, including taking a lead role in the Chevron Wheatstone project, coordinating the majority of the testing, inspection and certification activities.

Julie’s experience in third party, source inspection and project coordination reinforces the existing US team and the track-record that has been built over the last eight years. Her responsibilities will include managing the operations of all ongoing onshore, downstream, and midstream projects while developing new client relationships in the region and industry sector. She will also coordinate key onshore projects and accounts to support local clients.

As a key leader for the oil and energy industry, Fulkrum has an untethered commitment to its team, clients, and partners, providing world-class people-first services. With plans to continue expanding globally, Julie’s appointment is a testament to Fulkrum’s plans to grow the region as it enhances local capabilities and strengthens client relationships across North America.

Speaking on her appointment, Julie said: “I’m delighted to be joining what I know is a well experienced and diverse team. Having spent most of my career in Houston, coordinating successful projects and day-to-day business operations, I look forward to working with Fulkrum to strengthen client relationships, expand our offering, and support clients here in the US.

My plans for the region involve expanding our offering for the onshore client base and I hope to attract new clients to the region. The renewables market is vastly up and coming and offers new opportunities, so this is also something I look to explore in the future.”

Brock Falkenhagen, Regional Manager of the Americas region, added: “Julie’s wealth of knowledge and years of industry experience will be a huge asset to Fulkrum as we continue to grow our footprint in the Americas and globally.”
