Nearshore works have started for the TurkStream offshore gas pipeline near the Turkish town of Kiyiköy.

Pipelaying has resumed of the second offshore string (Line 2) for the TurkStream offshore gas pipeline.

The pipeline will compete with the Russian-built TurkStream pipeline for the supply of gas to Turkey, as well to southern Europe in the near future.
