At PPIM 2026 in Houston this week, Elizabeth Corner, Senior Editor at World Pipelines, talked to Paul Cooper, President of NDT Global, as the company launches a new inline inspection tool – the CIGMA-x – to the market.
Paul shares why now is the right moment to bring ultrasonic crack detection to dry gas pipelines, what operators are most frustrated by when it comes to gas-line crack detection today, and how CIGMA-x fits alongside established technologies such as EMAT.
