Ron’s extensive career has seen him provide consulting services on anti-corrosion coating selection, new product development, field inspection and coating application training on a global scale.

In this spotlight session, Elizabeth and Ron review Denso North America’s recent article for World Pipelines, entitled ‘Protecting pipes during pullback’.
The article, which was published in the Coatings & Corrosion 2021 issue of World Pipelines, describes key considerations for protecting pipelines and pipeline coatings during HDD pipeline installation. Ron highlights the ways that a pipeline can sustain damage during an HDD pull.
The article considers how current best practice can be improved, and introduces a protective outerwrap technology for preventing damage.
