World Pipelines Spotlight with Volvo Construction Equipment

In this spotlight session, we are reviewing Volvo CE’s recent article for World Pipelines, entitled ‘The Greek-Bulgarian connection’. The article, which was published in the October 2021 issue of World Pipelines, discusses the company’s involvement in the Gas Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria (the ICGB) project. The laying of the 182 km long pipeline between Greece and Bulgaria marks a milestone in cross-border collaboration and brings with it a more secure supply of low-carbon gas to Bulgaria. The article describes the mammoth task of laying the pipeline, and details the machines being used to cope with the many challenges that the megaproject brings.
