Continental Fabrication Services (CFS), a leader in pipeline fabrication to the oil and gas industry, has announced that it has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for the quality management system implemented by CFS at its Carrollton (Missouri, USA) facility.

The scope of CFS’ certification includes oil and gas pipeline prefabrication work for compressor and pumps stations, mainline valve, metering facilities and a multitude of other pipeline-related facilities.

“This is an important milestone for CFS,” said Wyatt Davenport, General Manager. “Becoming ISO 9001 certified is a rigorous process that required our staff to demonstrate to independent auditors that we meet the requirements of the standard. Not only does this confirm that we are as efficient as possible, it assures our customers that we have a completely transparent and robust management system. These reliable, repeatable, continuously improving business processes demonstrate that they are receiving the best value for their money.”

Davenport stated: “Implementing management procedures in accordance with the high standards of ISO 9001:2015 allows CFS to further solidify its position as a worldwide leader in the industry, and give customers the confidence of knowing that they’ve partnered with one of the best in the business.”

CFS is a division of Michels Corporation, one of the largest and most diversified utility and transportation contractors in North America.

CFS has been ISO 9001 registered since 2014. Its certification was audited by and issued through Denver-based ISO 9001 management certification firm, Platinum Registration, Inc.
