The US Department of Transportation's (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) announced that its pipeline safety research and development (R&D) programme is accepting proposals for research awards for research focusing on pipeline threat prevention; pipeline leak detection; pipeline anomaly detection/characterisation; underground natural gas storage; and liquefied natural gas.
