Corrosion Resistant Alloys, LP (CRA), a just-in-time (JIT) manufacturer of high-quality corrosion resistant alloy tubulars, has broken ground on the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Brenham, Texas.
The new facility will deliver an expansion of manufacturing capabilities and capacity, streamline processes, and further advance CRA’s vision of being the fastest, most reliable, quality provider of corrosion resistant alloy tubulars in the world. It will enhance CRA’s ability to offer customers creative solutions that are tailored to ever-changing industry and energy demands.
Phase I of the new facility will house cold pilger mills, rotary and press straighteners, various computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machine tools, band saws and pipe inspection facilities on a 40+ acre campus.
Cole Patchell, President, CRA PipeSearch, said, “This project is the culmination of over a decade of planning. We are excited to be able to offer our customers increased capacity, enhanced capabilities, and increased speed. The Brenham location is strategically positioned near the energy capital of the world, providing a strong workforce to support future growth. The community offers the values and quality of life that CRA places great significance on.”
The new facility will be based at 4300 Hwy 290 E, Brenham, TX 77833.
