Yellowhead County construction updates

Ponoka Creek HDD

HDD is being used to cross near Ponoka Creek. This work takes place in a phased approach beginning with the establishment of temporary work spaces on either side of the area being crossed. One site houses a drilling rig and associated equipment, and the other serves as a staging site for the pipe and will include welding and pipe stringing. After the site is prepared the crossing will be drilled, and then pipe pulled back through. After the drilling phase is complete the site will be cleared and returned to its original use.

Acheson to Entwistle pipeline construction

Work is underway in a series of phased activities along the pipeline right-of-way between Achesone and Entwistle. This could include; surveying, flagging and staking the right-of-way, mobilisation of crews and equipment, preparing the right-of-way, clearing and grading, delivery and staging of pipe, trenching, welding, lowering of pipe, backfilling and restoration of the right-of-way.

Entwistle to East of Edson pipeline construction

Work is underway in a series of phased activities along the pipeline right-of-way between Entwistle and East of Edson. This could include; surveying, flagging and staking the right-of-way, mobilisation of crews and equipment, preparing the right-of-way, clearing and grading, delivery and staging of pipe, trenching, welding, lowering of pipe, backfilling and restoration of the right-of-way.

West of Edson to West of Obed pipeline construction

Work is underway in a series of phased activities along the pipeline right-of-way between west of Edson to west of Obed. This could include; surveying, flagging and staking the right-of-way, mobilisation of crews and equipment, preparing the right-of-way, clearing and grading, delivery and staging of pipe, trenching, welding, lowering of pipe, backfilling and restoration of the right-of-way.

West of Obed to West of Hinton pipeline construction

Work is underway in a series of phased activities along the pipeline right-of-way between west of Obed to west of Hinton. This could include; surveying, flagging and staking the right-of-way, mobilisation of crews and equipment, preparing the right-of-way, clearing and grading, delivery and staging of pipe, trenching, welding, lowering of pipe, backfilling and restoration of the right-of-way.

Edson Stockpile Site, construction office and yard

Work at this site is currently underway. The site may be used for; the delivery and storage of construction materials and equipment, including stockpiling and staging of pipe; installation of temporary office buildings or trailers to support construction crews building the pipeline and associated facilities; transportation of materials and equipment to and from the site.
