A work meeting
The Gazprom headquarters hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Mariusz Zawisza, President of the PGNiG Management Board on the 19 October 2015.
The parties addressed the issues of natural gas supplies from Russia to Poland and its transit to third countries.
In addition, the participants discussed the prospects for further expansion of the gas transmission network in Europe.
Background
PGNiG is Poland's largest petroleum company dealing with gas and oil fields development, energy carrier’s production, storage and transportation, oil and gas transmission network construction and expansion as well as with gas export and import.
Poland received 9.1 billion m3 of Russian natural gas in 2014.
