Peterson expands Caribbean presence with new Repsol project

International energy logistics company Peterson has strengthened its presence in the Caribbean after being awarded a major contract with Repsol Exploracion Guyana, S.A.
Peterson has been selected as the main logistics contractor for the Carapa 1 exploration and drilling project and will see Peterson provide Repsol with integrated supply base operations management, logistics and pipe yard operations.
Peterson will service this project from Trinidad and Guyana to continue to support the local community in these regions and boost the supply chain, the energy logistics provider has put a strong focus on training and improving the community and keeping this project local demonstrates their commitment to this.
Maarten Spiljard, Director - Business Development, Peterson said: “We are delighted to have won this new contract with Repsol and it reaffirms our commitment to the Caribbean region. Peterson and Repsol have had a strong working relationship to date, and we look forward to working with them in the months and years ahead.”
Peterson has been active in Trinidad since 2012, setting up a formal operation in 2014 to support local operators and service companies and has already supported several large projects in the region.
