World Pipelines,
Aker BP has expanded its use of AGR’s knowledge sharing software.
AGR’s iQx software was adopted by Aker BP’s drilling department to better share intelligence internally regarding drilling operations.
The company has now decided to use the software for all well-related knowledge management activity, including their Subsurface, Plugging and Abandonment, and Well Intervention programmes.
The iQx software programme enables operators to share information on a collaborative web based platform, identifying problems that have occurred in past projects and alerting them to potential issues before they proceed. Embracing digitalisation will help companies cut costs and improve efficiencies and planning.
Petter Mathisen, VP for AGR Software, said: “We are immensely proud of our iQx Software and pleased to hear that Aker BP has chosen to extend their use of the platform across the rest of their drilling and well business. We’re glad that our software is delivering them value and knowledge.”
