Sharewell HDD welcomes lifting systems

World Pipelines,

Sharewell HDD has announced the launch of its PipeVac Lifting Systems®, which are manufactured with SmartLift Technology®. With a sleek, lightweight design, the systems have new hydraulic drive systems. Moreover, each of their components are selected with safety, performance and durability in mind.

PipeVac delivers a robust 26 t lifting capacity. Its vacuum pad design allows operators to lift a range of pipe diameters with fewer vacuum pad SKUs. The tool can be configured to lift virtually anything tubular – including plastic, steel or concrete pipe. The vacuum pad design and pad seal combination provides 40% more seal life.

The PipeVac system is powered by the host machine's hydraulics so no diesel or gas engine is needed. Its onboard GPS module lets personnel know exactly where their equipment is located. The module also provides diagnostic data.

The PipeVac System will be available for rental or purchase this January.

"The PipeVac is a state-of-the-art vacuum lifting system like no other. Our primary focus in developing our system was safety; engineered with a straightforward design," said Shawn Lowman, PipeVac Lifting Systems.

"We have manufactured a lifting system that replaces the need for multiple models. […] Our vacuum pad design reduces the need for more than half the SKUs."
