CROFT launches Supply Gas Dehydrator

World Pipelines,
Croft Production Systems, Inc. has six main product lines; including the Passive Dehydration System (PDS), which makes up for 77% of its businesses. Raw natural gas requires dehydration in order to avoid the formation of hydrates, reduce corrosion, and meet sales specifications before it is sent downstream. In today’s competitive environment, evaluating performance and identifying alternative methods for dehydration is becoming increasingly important.
Over the last 28 years, CROFT has supplied numerous vessel sizes, ranging from 20 in. to 73 in. dia. Recently, CROFT noticed a demand for smaller vessels to dehydrate instrumentation gas, so its engineering team merged with R&D and set out to meet this demand.
The end solution was CROFT’s Supply Gas Dehydrator. The Supply Gas Dehydrator is a smaller version of the company’s PDS and operates with the same benefits as this system but is available in a smaller compacted version (6 in. or 10 in. vessel diameter).
This new vessel’s main goal is to accommodate the dehydration of smaller volumes of gas streams. This unit differs from CROFT’s PDS in that it is able to be purchased. The company will continue to utilise its specifically designed enviroDRI desiccant; which is now more conveniently packaged and is able to be shipped to your destination.
Benefits of the Supply Gas Dehydrator include:
- Reduced capital expense.
- Reduced operating costs.
- Easy installation.
- Simple and safe maintenance.
- No moving parts.
- No fired vessels.
- Safely and easily dehydrates gas streams.
- Proven industry design and construction maximises dehydration while minimising emissions.
- Uses non-hazardous desiccant with zero flames.
- Pre-engineered modular design speeds startup.
- Uniform in and out simplifies piping hookups.
Along with prompt, professional service support and spare parts that are available from the regional service technicians.
