SRJ launches new digital application to support major asset owners

SRJAnalytics allows asset management, maintenance and inspection teams to standardise all activities, centralise data capture and provide instant reporting related to the condition of each of their piping assets.

Drawing on the extensive industry knowledge and expertise of the SRJ team, SRJAnalytics utilises a unique risk assessment tool that proactively categorises repair and maintenance requirements, and allows management to monitor their assets live from any web enabled device.

SRJ CEO Alexander Wood said the digital platform was designed to facilitate greater safety, productivity and efficiency in the management of all facilities.

“The main intention of the package is to enable the seamless flow of consistent information from vessel, platform or production facility, to management, to providers,” Mr Wood said.

“It means that everybody in the supply chain has access to relevant data about asset condition and service priorities, enabling faster turnaround from identifying the problem right through to procuring parts and delivering onsite products and services to carry out repairs or maintenance.

SRJ specialises in the design and engineering of a range of weld-free technologies for pipe connections and a diverse suite of patented repair products to keep assets running. The engineering management team, made up of leading global experts in subsea and surface applications across multiple heavy industries, also provides consultancy services.

Mr Wood said SRJAnalytics was designed to complement those solutions by enhancing information flow and further speeding up turnaround times to investigate, design, manufacture and deliver solutions to the asset owners.

“The whole point is that SRJAnalytics will allow SRJ to closely align its priorities to major asset owners and puts us in the position to be most effective in supporting their requirements,” he said.

“A big issue for operators managing one or more production facilities is ensuring consistency of data gathering, which in turn impacts reporting and the ability to make informed decisions.

“SRJAnalytics directs personnel to capture relevant information and presents a holistic view of requirements to relevant, authorised stakeholders.”

The initial design of the digital platform was based on the complex requirements of floating production, storage and offload (FPSO) vessels, which may include hundreds of individual components to be managed. However, it is highly configurable, allowing it to be tailored to a broad range of asset management requirements.
