By offering training, education and a qualification that is developed by practitioners for other practitioners, Rosen introduced a new service at this year’s International Pipeline Conference and Exhibition (IPC/IPE).

Aging assets present risks to the safety of both people and environment. These risks are becoming far more imminent as standards and regulations explicitly require all personnel working on these aging assets are competent and qualified in their respective fields of responsibility.

The resulting challenge for operators is twofold: first, they must ensure their personnel are competent and second, they must ensure that their personnel’s competence is demonstrable.

Rosen Education Systems and Services has attempted to address this need by developing structured learning programmes that are designed according to industry-specific requirements. The programmes focus on acquisition of different skillsets, subject knowledge and practical experience. Additionally, Rosen has created and adapted the required qualifications to demonstrate competency.

Rosen Education Systems and Services aims to help professionals acquire competence in their fields of expertise and enables them to demonstrate this with a corresponding certificate from a reputable panel.
