Amec Foster Wheeler wins Workplace Safety and Health Awards

Amec Foster Wheeler has announced that its Singapore office has received three Safety and Health Award Recognition for Projects (SHARP) awards and a Gold Performance Award at the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Awards ceremony held in Singapore on 27 July.

The three SHARP accolades are for outstanding safety performance on the Afton Lion Project, the ExxonMobil SBA (Aurora/EOS) Off-Plot Project and the Chevron Oronite Carboxylate Project.

Additionally, Amec Foster Wheeler received the Gold Performance Award.

Eoin Quirke, Amec Foster Wheeler’s President, Asia Pacific, said: “Congratulations to the Singapore teams for receiving these four awards which recognise the impressive safety culture embedded within our project sites and positive behaviours displayed by our project teams. Well done to all for your on-going commitment to safety and let’s continue the great work.”

SHARPs are awarded to recognise projects or worksites that have superb safety and health performance and workplace safety and health management systems.
