A working meeting between Alexey Miller (Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee) and Denis Safin, (Director General of Zagorsk Pipe Plant) has recently taken place in Moscow.

During the meeting, it was noted that in March 2017, large diameter pipes produced by Zagorsk Pipe Plant (ZTZ) had been included in the register of pipe products approved for use at Gazprom’s facilities.

ZTZ produces electric welded longitudinal steel pipes with a diameter of 1020 - 1422 mm. The parties discussed the prospects for further co-operation on the condition that Zagorsk Pipe Plant consistently ensure high quality of its products.

ZTZ became operational in 2015. It is one of the five Russian-based companies producing large diameter pipes. The company has the production capacities to manufacture longitudinally welded pipes of steel grades up to X100 with a diameter of 530 - 1420 mm and a length of up to 12.2 m. It mainly caters to the oil and gas sector.
