World Pipelines,
Roxtec products are used to seal hundreds of openings for cables and pipes onboard Dong Energy’s Burbo Bank offshore wind farm substation. ENGIE Fabricom, a substation builder, has used Roxtec transits to optimise protection and enhance operational reliability.
Roxtec’s sealing solutions are used frequently across the substation to protect against fire, gas and water. The transits are used for a wide range of pipe penetrations – from the air-conditioning to the fire-fighting system pipes.
“The challenge is to keep out the sea atmosphere. With Roxtec, you have everything under control and can be 100% sure that rooms are separated also in case of fire,” says Willy Martens, Area Sales Manager of ENGIE Fabricom.

From there, it will be safely injected via pipeline into subsurface reservoirs approximately 1800 m beneath the seabed for permanent storage.
