Sandvik aiming to make its mark at NACE Corrosion 2018

Sandvik, the developer and manufacturer of advanced stainless steel products and special alloys, will be attending the conference and exhibition at NACE Corrosion 2018.

Four Sandvik representatives will be speaking at the conference on a range of corrosion related themes and topics. Angela Phillipp will be discussing ‘A News Bimetallic Solution to Manage Corrosion in Nitric Acid Plants’, Daniel Gullberg will be talking about ‘New Duplex Stainless Steel Optimized for the Urea Process’, while Anna Delblanc will be explaining the ‘Comparison of Critical Pitting Temperatures of Stainless Steels in different Salt Solutions’. Katarina Persson is also presenting on the subject of ‘Electromechanical corrosion comparison of seamless tubes in UNS S31266 and UNS S31254 with new testing method’.

Eduardo Gomes, Sales and Marketing Director, BU Tube Americas for Sandvik, said: “It’s great to see our team of experts making important contributions to NACE Corrosion Conference. At the Sandvik booth 1231, the company’s focus will be on a combination of knowledge, expertise and product excellence. The team will be on hand throughout the event to discuss the different materials available for numerous types of application, as well as helping customers solve any specific problems they may have.
