Origin Integrity Management – based in the North East of the UK – will continue to support Dana with the integrity management of its subsea assets.
Origin Integrity Management assists Dana with its subsea integrity strategy based on field proven practical methodology – focused around three integral areas: plant, process and people.
This comprehensive management system approach has helped Dana run its critical operations safely and efficiently while ensuring its workforce and resources are protected.
Speaking about the contract extension, Phil Surtees, Operations Director at Origin Integrity Management said: “We are delighted that Dana Petroleum has chosen Origin to deliver this two year extension contract.
“In a turbulent marketplace with oil prices slumping, coupled with the outbreak of COVID-19, a major contract extension, such as this, is welcome news that helps to solidify Origin’s future, and business predictability.
“It is also testament to the high quality of our integrity services and the great relationship that we have built with Dana over the last few years.
“Despite these challenging times, we have a very healthy pipeline of work and it has been refreshing to see an oil and gas company working with their supply chain to allow longer term security.”
Most recently the business has launched its sister company – Origin Tech – which specialises in developing a range of innovative technologies designed to gather accurate intelligence to inform integrity management decisions. The company is now in a position to launch two new technologies that are set to transform both the utilities and offshore wind sector.
Origin Integrity Management develops world class technologies and systems to prevent asset failures to increase its client’s uptime and productivity. It has worldwide experience in integrity management and inspection gained in regions such as Asia, West Africa, South America and the North Sea. The company also has offices in Mexico and Australia and plans to open a fourth office in Aberdeen.
