One of the leading pipeline construction companies, Macro Pipelines, has embarked on a partnership with Nadleh-Whut’en and its long-time partner Frost Group, for construction in Section 5.

Over the years, Nadleh Whut’en have been working towards economic prosperity for themselves and the region. Nadleh Whut’en bring their deep knowledge and commitment to the land to this important partnership.

“We’re proud to welcome this partnership which not only demonstrates our commitment to Indigenous reconciliation, but also showcases our commitment to providing contract opportunities and employment for our local communities,” shared Indigenous Relations Director, Tiffany Murray.

“Collaborations like this provide an opportunity to show the world how First Nations can participate, competitively and meaningfully, without compromising our cultural values or environmental stewardship while maximising economic benefits and participation with industrial activity on our unceded territory,” shared Nadleh Whut’en Chief Larry Nooski.

The partnership is the second major Indigenous joint venture prime contractor since we announced the Ledcor-Haisla Limited Partnership in May 2021. Partnerships like these are one of the many ways we are working together with our Indigenous partners to advance reconciliation efforts and foster a lasting legacy.
