Applied Flow Technology partners with Flex Process

Applied Flow Technology (AFT) has welcomed Flex Process of the United Kingdom to their international family of Channel Partners.

Based in Bristol, England, Flex Process strategically brought together a team of highly experienced specialised engineers in 2007 to form the company. Flex Process provides specialist services to the process and power industries, and has expertise to serve client’s needs in Chemicals, Iron and Steel, Biofuels, Paper, Nuclear, Refining, Terminals, LNG, Pharmaceuticals, Power, Distribution, and Offshore Storage & Production.

Their services are linked by a common theme, the application of advanced simulation tools to provide more accurate and cost-effective solutions to their clients. Flex Process acts as a single all-in-one-place supplier for specialised technical services that will solve your dynamic fluid problems.

Process Engineer Manager, Peter Reeves CEng, MIChemE, will lead the AFT sector at Flex Process. Reeves has over 30 years of global experience in oil & gas (onshore & offshore), refining, power generation, cellulose films & fibres, waste treatment and pharmaceuticals. His experience has been with Operating Companies, Consultancies and EPCs. He has extensive experience throughout the Project Funnel from Feasibility/Conceptual work through FEED and EPC to Plant Operations, Optimisation, Debottlenecking and Troubleshooting for both greenfield projects and brownfield projects.

This connection story is not like AFT’s other 39 Channel Partners. While new to AFT as a partner, Flex Process has been an AFT customer, not a software distributor, for several years. When AFT’s UK Channel Partner notified them that he was retiring, Flex Process was recommended. After discussion, deliberation, and due diligence, AFT extended an offer to Flex Process’s team and a new partnership unlike any other was born.

This new partnership moves the accessibility of AFT software and training from the Northern Scotland area to just east of London. Their central location means Flex Process is easily accessible by all areas of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
