Dr Chris Fowler honoured twice by NACE

NACE International Institute, the worldwide corrosion authority, has recognised Exova’s Global Corrosion Director, Dr Chris Fowler, re-appointing him to its Board and presenting him with a lifetime achievement award in the Middle East.
President of NACE
Dr Fowler, who is currently the President of NACE, has recently been re-elected for a further three years, as of January 2016. His presidency will run for a year, until the end of 2016, when he will continue in the role of past president.
NACE Middle East area achievement award
Dr Fowler has been honoured with the first ever lifetime achievement award by the NACE Middle East Area. The award recognises Fowler’s his efforts on tackling the global corrosion challenge, alongside his expertise on sour service corrosion and his leadership in educating on corrosion solutions.
Commenting on Chris’ achievements, Dr Roger Digby, Exova’s Group Technical Director, said: “This is very well deserved recognition for Chris and we are pleased to see him continue in such an important role with NACE. His energy and tireless commitment are an inspiration to his colleagues both within Exova and the wider NACE community, and the depth and breadth of his knowledge keeps Exova at the forefront of the understanding of corrosion for the oil and gas industry.”
