Technology is key

It plays an important global role within ABB, with several key technologies and businesses being led there.
ABB Finland is the home to energy efficient low voltage drives and the company’s Azipod propulsion system for ships, which was invented by ABB Finland. Subsea transformers and grid automation are also other examples of Finnish innovation.
