SOCAR President pays visit to Turkmenistan
On 22 September, the delegation led by SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev visited Ashgabat city of Turkmenistan.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received SOCAR President. He emphasised the importance of bilateral friendly ties and neighbourhood relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for strategic cooperation in the both countries’ energy industry. Both of the Caspian countries pay special attention to development of energy sector. It was noted that the two countries having colossal resources and economical potential are willing to continue developing traditional co-operation based on the principles of equality and mutual benefit.
