World Pipelines,
Doedijns b.v. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Mechatest. Mechatest, based in Nootdorp, specialising in (manual) sampling systems for the oil, gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and water (hydrogen) industries. Combined, Doedijns and Mechatest become the total supplier in sampling solutions. This is a unique position in the market.
Mechatest Sampling Solutions was founded over 30 years ago and has become a major player in the field of sampling in the oil, gas and power industries. The manual samplers, applicable in the mid- and downstream industry, are suitable for gases, liquids, steam, water and hydrogen (H2). This strategic acquisition endorses our ambition to grow and offer a complete service to our (joint) customers.
"This is an important step for Mechatest, this cooperation gives us the opportunity to realise our plans for international growth,'' said Andre van Roon, director Mechatest. "By joining forces we are increasing our network and our engineering and production capacity. This way we can serve our (joint) customers even better."
Doedijns, since last year part of the Vydraulics Group, is not only a specialist in power, motion and control systems, but also in automatic sampling systems. Wouter Vullers, commercial director Vydraulics: "Mechatest's products are complementary to Doedijns' current product portfolio. The combined product portfolio will further strengthen our position in the international sampling market."
Later this year, Mechatest will move into Doedijns' facility on Bleiswijkseweg in Zoetermeer. The acquisition has no consequences for employment. The parties involved are looking forward to a successful collaboration.
