A working meeting has recently been held at the Gazprom headquarters to discuss ongoing co-operation in the gas sector. The attendees of the meeting were Alexey Miller, Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee and Vladimir Semashko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus.

It has been noted that Gazprom provided Belarus with reliable gas supplies to deliver the required amounts of gas to Belarusian consumers. From January until July 2016, the company supplied 10.3 billion m3 of gas to the Republic.

Gazprom ensures an uninterrupted transit of Russian gas across Belarus. Over the past seven months, a total of 24.2 billion m3 of gas was transmitted to consumers in the CIS, Europe and the Kaliningrad region.

Gazprom continues to actively prepare the Belarusian gas transmission system for operation in the upcoming autumn/winter period. Among other things, gas injection into underground gas storage facilities is proceeding according to schedule.
