MATCOR corrosion engineer to speak at NACE Corrosion 2017

A full-service provider of proprietary cathodic protection products, systems, services and corrosion engineering solutions, MATCOR has announced that senior corrosion engineer, Jeffrey L. Didas, will present ‘Management of Pipeline Casing Issues’ at NACE Corrosion 2017.
The conference is set to take place on 26 - 30 March in New Orleans. Didas’ talk will take place on 30 March at 11am - 12 pm in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Room 227.
Whether clear or shorted, pipeline casings are an issue. Didas’ presentation will cover the various issues with casings and what, if anything, can be done to remediate these issues. His discussion will include pipeline casing cathodic protection (CP), casing filling, casing removal and more.
Didas has over 42 years of diverse corrosion experience and the highest level of NACE certification. He currently serves in the elected position of Vice President Elect for the NACE Board of Directors.
