ASCO expands Teesside presence to support Net Zero Teesside

The new Redcar office will act as a regional hub for ASCO’s opera-tions across Central UK and North East England, supporting work already underway across major projects including Net Zero Tees-side and the Hornsea 3 and Dogger Bank offshore windfarms as well as wider activity across defence, port, marine, offshore wind and industrial markets.

Across the region, ASCO is delivering integrated support across quayside delivery, ships agency, storage, workforce and recruitment, logistics, materials management, fuels, lift-ing assurance and environmental services, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste management.

ASCO is also the exclusive provider of quayside management services at Steel River Quay, forming an integral part of the Teesworks complex and supporting nearly 70 jobs. Through this role, ASCO provides integrated logistics, supply chain, materials, warehousing and critical marine services, placing the company close to the infrastructure and activity needed to help major projects move safely and efficiently through the region.

Ryan Thompson, Business Development Manager Central UK at ASCO, who will manage the Teesside office, said: “Opening our Teesside office is an important step for ASCO and reflects the scale of activity we are already supporting across the region.
