Pipeshield International receives fourth Queen’s Award

Pipeshield International Limited, a Tekmar Group company, has been presented with a prestigious Queen’s Award for outstanding achievements in international trade.

This award is particularly special for Pipeshield, who this year celebrates 20 years’ of designing and manufacturing subsea protection solutions for the global offshore energy and marine civil industries.

The award also marks the fourth Queen’s Award presented to Pipeshield in recent years and recognises the companies continued achievements on the international stage.

Pipeshield, which accounts approximately 50% of its revenue to export markets, has already secured 20 new projects worth over €3million in 1Q20. Many of these projects are for customers in Azerbaijan, Mediterranean, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, wherein the Middle East the company has successfully registered with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Saudi Aramco within KSA to supply a range of its products and services.

As part of Pipeshield’s commitment to the international marketplace, the company has established permanent supply bases in the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Bahrain, Azerbaijan and the UK. In addition, Pipeshield regularly establishes project-specific manufacturing in other regions such as South Africa, Canada, Malta, Germany and beyond. This enables the company to deliver its leading solutions in-country whilst supporting local supply chains and employment markets.

Pipeshield continues to support the oil and gas sectors in the UK and Europe and is stepping up its presence in the UK, European and US offshore wind sectors.
