EEMUA has welcomed the British Pipeline Agency (BPA) as its newest Corporate Member.
The BPA operates a range of onshore fuel transport and storage facilities, mostly located in the UK, and provides operational and engineering consultancy services to the onshore oil and gas pipeline sector worldwide to develop such facilities.
The company manages over 1000 km of fuel pipelines in the UK, together with associated pumping stations, bulk storage tank-sites and road/rail terminal facilities.
The objectives of EEMUA and the BPA related to safety, the environment and operating performance of high hazard industrial assets are well aligned and the company’s involvement in EEMUA will generate mutual benefits on both sides.
The British Pipeline Agency is owned jointly by BP and Shell.
