Scheduled pipeline repairs completed by Transneft Kama Region

Transneft Kama Region, JSC completed scheduled repairs on the Kholmogory-Klin, Perm-Almetyevsk, Almetyevsk-Kuybyshev-2, and Almetyevsk-Kuybyshev-1 trunk oil pipelines.
29 pits were thus excavated in the course of the scheduled shutdown of the trunk oil pipelines.
Specialists repaired two defects and 16 valves in the Platina-Perm section of the Kholmogory-Klin oil pipeline that crosses the territories of Sverdlovsk Region and Perm Krai. Also, two valves were repaired in the Perm-Lazarevo section of this oil pipeline.
The constructed underwater crossing through the Sok river with the length of over 1 km was connected and two stop valves were replaced in the course of scheduled operations on the Almetyevsk-Kuybyshev-2 trunk oil pipeline running through the Republic of Tatarstan and Samara Region. One gate valve was also replaced. The constructed section of more than 52 km in length was connected on the Almetyevsk-Kuybyshev-1 oil pipeline.
Specialists of Perm, Almetyevsk, Kazan and Romashkino Oil Pipeline Directorates of Transneft Kama Region were involved in the repair operations. In total, 674 people and 220 units of machinery were involved.
All operations are carried out within the implementation of the integrated technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul programme of Transneft Kama Region. The objective is to maintain the high operational safety of trunk oil pipelines.
Oil transfer via Transneft Kama Region pipelines is resumed under routine operation as scheduled.
