STATS Group land Santos Australian pipeline isolation contract

STATS Group has been awarded a significant pipeline isolation services contract by leading independent Asia-Pacific oil and gas producer Santos.

The long-term call-off contract covers all Santos assets in Queensland and South Australia, including pipelines and facilities in the Cooper Basin, Port Bonython, and the GLNG upstream and downstream operations at Gladstone.

Santos has one of the largest exploration and production acreages in Australia and extensive infrastructure and is committed to supplying homes, businesses and major industries across Australia and Asia. STATS Group are market leaders in the supply of pressurised pipeline isolation, hot tapping and plugging services to the global oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

The company’s patented isolation tools provide leak-tight double block and bleed isolation that enables safe and efficient maintenance and repair of pipeline infrastructure, with a focus on reducing system downtime, minimising environmental impact and increasing worksite safety.
