At the event, the company introduced the new HIMA China Innovation Centre and highlighted its localisation journey in China and commitment to excellence. The event provided deeper insights into functional safety and OT security, while showcasing how HIMA’s solutions protect people, assets, and the environment.

Back in 2002, HIMA Group first brought its world-class functional safety expertise to the Chinese market, laying the foundations for partnership with local players. In 2016, HIMA established its wholly owned subsidiary HIMA (Shanghai) Industrial Automation Co., Ltd., marking a landmark shift from market representation to full localised operation, technical service and project delivery. This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the HIMA China’s operations, reflecting a decade of deep market trust and sustained growth.

A key achievement is the official launch of the HMI local version, which not only delivers all traditional HMI functionalities but also integrates advanced digital features to support smarter, more efficient operations.

Zhou Yao (Zena), General Manager of HIMA China said: “The China Innovation Centre launch is a major milestone for our 24 years journey in China. This is an open platform that brings together HIMA’s global safety expertise with local customers, institutes, EPCs, OEMs and partners. Our vision is clear: Innovation without borders. The CIC will serve as a collaborative platform, engaging customers, institutes, technology partners and industry experts to co-create future technological solutions.
