Monetizing Gas Africa announces new lead arranger

Monetizing Gas Africa (MGA), the gas infrastructure company focused on Sub-Saharan Africa, is pleased to announce the appointment of a lead arranger and provide an update on the latest additions to its executive team.
MGA has entered into a mandate with Paris-based Cofarco for financial advisory services and fund-raising assistance.
Cofarco has a well established practice and track-record of raising finance in the energy sector with a diversified high quality client base.
MGA and Cofarco are aligned on the vision for a Pan-African midstream gas infrastructure operator and investment platform, one capable of building and operating a broad range of transportation and processing infrastructure in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The appointment of Mr John Peffer as Chief Operating officer and Mr Mark Akers as Chief Financial Officer completes the executive management team along with myself and Ebrahim Takolia, Chief of Corporate Development. Mr Nic Smith and Mr Alex Kulpecz continue to serve as advisors to MGA. Together, this management team have the relevant experience and expertise to deploy to investments.
