Gazprom attends talks in France

Gazprom representatives, including Alexey Miller, Chairman of the company’s Management Committee, have recently visited and attended talks in France.

Between 1 January and 13 September 2016, Gazprom supplied 8 billion m3 of gas to France. This figure is approximately 27.3% higher than in the same period of 2015.

A working meeting between Alexey Miller and Jean-Bernard Levy, Chairman and CEO of EDF was held in Paris to discuss the potential of creating new routes for Russian gas exports around Europe. This meeting comes in the light of the resumed TurkStream project.

Another meeting took place, between Alexey Miller and Gerard Mestrallet, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENGIE. During this meeting, ongoing and future cooperation was discussed, including mentions of the Nord Stream 2 project.
