Spectra Energy Corp has announced the release of its 2013 online sustainability report. The report highlights Spectra Energy’s sustainable approach in five key focus areas: stakeholder engagement; incorporating sustainability in supply chain management; environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting; environmental resource conservation; and community development.
“Sustainability is not an isolated function or a ‘feel good’ platitude for us at Spectra Energy. It is integral to our business, culture, strategy, decisions, stakeholder interactions and long-term success delivering energy across North America,” said Greg Ebel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Spectra Energy. “Our sustainability strategy supports our ongoing, tremendous growth cycle. It helps us to be responsive to customers, reduce risk, attract, motivate and retain talent, safely deliver our projects on time and on budget and bring tangible value, such as jobs, to the communities we serve.”
Spectra Energy’s sustainability report, “A Sustainable Approach to What’s Next,” is available online.
