Gazprom consolidates its design assets in single company
Gazprom has resolved to consolidate its design assets in a specialist company, namely Gazprom Projectirovaniye, to be headed by Oleg Andreev.
Gazprom Management Committee Chairman Alexey Miller held a meeting in St. Petersburg today to consider the main business activities of Gazprom Projectirovaniye.
“As Gazprom delivers new large-scale projects, enhanced requirements are imposed to the quality and timelines of the design process, and, most importantly, this kind of work should be advanced to a higher level. The design phase not only specifies technical solutions for our future construction projects, but also to a large extent determines their economic features. Consolidation of Gazprom’s design assets will help establish uniform standards of the design activity and considerably improve the work efficiency.
Oleg Andreev was authorised to supervise this activity. He is a real professional who went up the career ladder from a gas production operator to the director general of a largest production company in Gazprom. I am confident that his unique long-term experience will allow meeting all the challenges faced by the new company,” said Alexey Miller.
