Our Nation’s Energy Future (ONE Future) has announced that EagleClaw Midstream has joined the coalition; bringing the total number of member companies to 24.

“We are proud to have EagleClaw Midstream as our newest member,” said Richard Hyde, Executive Director, ONE Future. “Operational safety and environmental protection is a top priority for EagleClaw, and we are certain they will provide great value to the ONE Future Coalition.”

As a ONE Future member, EagleClaw Midstream will report its 2019 methane results as part of the Gathering & Boosting and Processing sectors within the coalition and will hold a seat on ONE Future’s Board of Directors. The 2018 Methane Intensity Report was released several months ago, the coalition registered a 2018 methane intensity number of 0.326%, a decrease of 41% from 2017, demonstrating that the natural gas industry can minimise methane emissions and increase production and throughput while supplying much needed energy to the US and around the globe for years to come.

“We are committed to protecting and preserving the environment and encouraging the efficient use of natural resources. We continuously look for ways to improve the environmental performance of our operations,” said Jamie Welch, President and CEO, EagleClaw Midstream. “This membership only serves to further support our goals and we look forward to the partnership.”

About ONE Future

ONE Future was formed when eight companies came together in 2014 with a focus to collectively achieve a science-based average rate of methane emissions across its facilities equivalent to 1% (or less) of total natural gas production. Since its formation, it has grown to 24 companies accounting for the some of the largest natural gas producers, transmission and distribution companies in the US. ONE Future members operate in 11 out of the 19 production basins and other segments of the value chain operate in multiple regions of the country, hence ONE Future’s data represent a geographically diverse and material share of the US natural gas supply chain. Its members include Ascent Resources, Antero Resources, Apache, Berkshire Hathaway Pipeline Group, BHP, Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP, Dominion Energy, EagleClaw Midstream, Equinor, Equitrans Midstream, EQT, Hess, Kinder Morgan, National Grid, New Jersey Natural Gas, NW Natural, Noble Energy, Southern Company Gas, Southwestern Energy, Summit Utilities, TC Energy, Williams, Xcel Energy.
