The Norwegian pipeline system operator has suggested that gas from existing fields and discoveries could give added value if increased transport and processing capacity can be established.
The acquisition will provide high-resolution pipe ID scanning hardware and imaging software.
The association formally made the announcement at its annual meeting, held in downtown Houston.
