New Director General of Transgaz Volgograd appointed by Gazprom

Gasan Nabiev, the former Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Volgograd, has been relieved from his office upon retirement. Gazprom has recently appointed Yury Maramygin as the Director General of its Transgaz Volgograd.
Maramygin has been part of Gazprom’s team for 24 years. Below is a chronological timeline of his Gazprom experience:
- 1992 – 1998: He rose from Foreman to Head of Line Operation Service at Shadrinskoye gas pipeline operation centre of Gazprom’s subsidiary Uraltransgaz.
- 1998 - 1999: Deputy Gas Sales Director for Kurgan region at Mezhregiongaz.
- 1999 - 2006: Head of Shadrinskoye gas pipeline operation centre at Uraltransgaz.
- 2006 - 2016: Deputy Director General for Capital Construction, Chief Engineer, First Deputy Director General at Gazprom Transgaz Yekaterinburg.
Maramygin graduated from Tyumen State Oil and Gas University with a major in Design, Construction and Operation of gas and oil pipelines and storage facilities. He also holds an MBA degree and an Engineering PhD degree.
