NBCC joins Offshore West Africa as a strategic partner for 20th Anniversary

The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) has confirmed a strategic partnership with Offshore West Africa Conference & Exhibition, owned and produced by PennWell Corp. for the upcoming 20th Anniversary event on 26-28 January 2016, taking place at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, Nigeria.

The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) is a bilateral Chamber of Commerce committed to promoting improved trade and Investment between Nigerian and British Private Sector Operators to enhance the business of its members; for the benefit of both countries using the best economic diplomacy and information and communication technology tools or platforms.

Joyce Akpata, Director-General of the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce, stated: 'The Nigerian- British Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with Offshore West Africa especially since we have similar objectives which is to create a vibrant networking experience, generate new business ventures and initiate further learning opportunities for Corporate Individuals and Government parastatals".

The 20th annual Offshore West Africa will build on the success of the 2015 event, which also took place in Lagos, which attracted a record breaking international audience of almost 2400 leading oil and gas industry professionals from more than 30 countries worldwide. The NBCC joins other recently announced strategic partnerships for the 2016 event, including the Energy Institute Nigeria, Lonadek, the African Energy Association, Scottish Development International and the International Trade Council.

Offshore West Africa will continue to feature a technical and strategic conference program developed by an Advisory Board comprised of leading industry experts, as well as an exhibition showcasing products, technologies and services from global and regional oil and gas companies, held concurrently, bringing together exhibitors and attendees from around the world for three days of education, networking and new business development.

Offshore West Africa is a West African event and addresses key technology and development issues for the West African offshore oil and gas market, through a comprehensive educational program and 3 day exhibition and conference, with the 2016 event focusing on Positioning for a Sustainable Future as the core theme.
