Transneft Diascan diagnoses 4000 km of pipe in 1H17

Within the first semester of 2017 Transneft Diascan diagnosed 4000 km of pipelines at the facilities not included into Transneft system. The works were conducted both for Russian companies and foreign customers.
The enterprise’s specialists performed diagnostics of 1778.6 km of pipelines in Russia. The works were conducted using inline inspection (ILI) tools produced by Transneft Diascan: multichannel geometry tool, magnetic defectoscope (MFL) and ultrasonic defectoscope (WM).
Abroad the basic part of ILI works was conducted in Iran, where 1342 km of pipelines were inspected using multichannel geometry tools and magnetic defectoscopes MFL and TFI.
In addition, Transneft Diascan performed ILI works in Brazil, China and Oman.
