Martin Fingerhut has joined Technical Toolboxes (TT) as its President & Chief Executive Officer. In this role he will lead the progression of the company’s strategy and digital transformation of the company’s pipeline industry standard suite of technical software applications to the cloud.

“As the installed customer base of over 700 corporate pipeline owner operators and major engineering service vendors move from using the Pipeline Toolbox and RSTRENG on the desktop to the cloud, the ‘PIPELINE skyBox™’ is the future. Martin will lead Technical Toolboxes’ efforts to transform its pipeline and midstream industry connections to form a strong Pipeline ‘Community’ that includes Government-PHMSA/NAPSR, Owners-Operators, R&D-Standards, and Public-Not for Profit organisations,” said Joe Summa, Chairman.

Fingerhut holds 30 years of global business and technology leadership experience across a wide range of sectors and disciplines, where he gained a broad perspective of how technology can transform processes, provide new insights into business performance and create stakeholder value.

Prior to joining Technical Toolboxes, Fingerhut served as Vice President of Strategic Business Development for APPLUS RTD. Before that, he worked as President of Kiefner & Associates, Inc., a pipeline consulting ‘think tank’ where he led the turnaround of its acquisition and the development of market-leading asset performance/risk management software solutions for clients in the upstream, downstream, midstream and other asset-intensive sectors.

“I’m delighted to be joining a company that’s committed to leveraging the rapid changes in data and digital technology in order to deliver new insights into risk and asset performance,” said Fingerhut.

“TT’s” strategy to strengthen its position at the forefront of the Pipeline Community coupled with its market leading technical tools places it in a unique position to deliver value and knowledge leadership to its clients and industry as a whole,” he commented.

Technical Toolboxes Chairman and President, Joe Summa, added: “We are very pleased to have Martin join the Technical Toolboxes team. This is an exciting and important further step in the realisation of our plan to be the leading provider of technology-enabled lifecycle asset management solutions for the critical infrastructure industries.”
