Sawyer Mfg. Company has recently added several new services to its offerings and completely redesigned its company website. After previously concentrating on manufacturing its own products, the company is now taking on third-party jobs of all kinds. It has broadened its services to offer its customers many new possibilities; including custom welding, machining, assembling and painting, and blasting capabilities.

Andrew Martins of Sales and Marketing at Sawyer, said that the new capabilities offered by the company are a natural extension of what they already do. “Our new Sawyer services are simply a perfect fit for our company. At Sawyer, we have a rather industrious spirit that pushes us into new and bigger territory. I suppose we don’t enjoy resting on our laurels and are always looking at ways to improve,” Martins commented.

To effectively communicate and advertise the new Sawyer services, a major overhaul of the company website was needed.

Krystal Bornhop, Marketing Co-ordinator has said the website improvements included aesthetics updates and new areas detailing its expanded services. But, the primary focus was on functionality. Sawyer has made it easier for users to find and access what they want quickly.

This included improving the site’s mobile experience, ensuring all search engine optimisation efforts are utilising best practices, adding a portal for distributors to download content and speeding up the load times of all pages. In addition to updating the company website, Sawyer re-focused its efforts on its social media presence.

Bornhop highlighted the company directs most of its energy toward Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube because it found that’s where its customers are congregating and has found great success in growing its following with each platform.

Through these channels, Sawyer has found that it can quickly and easily communicate with its customers about news, product updates, job opportunities, contests, tips and tricks and more.
