Gazprom and Lukoil address co-operation issues
The Gazprom headquarters hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Vagit Alekperov, President of LUKOIL.
The parties discussed the issues of co-operation while arranging the processing of associated petroleum gas (APG) from the northern group of LUKOIL-Komi fields at the Sosnogorsk gas processing plant (GPP) of Gazprom.
It was noted that the work was in progress for creating the required infrastructure to deliver gas to the GPP. In particular, the construction of a gas branch from the Bovanenkovo–Ukhta gas trunkline system to the Pechora GDS-2 is nearing completion.
The first gas delivery and pre-commissioning activities at the gas branch are scheduled for the second quarter of 2015. In addition, design and estimate documents were prepared for two gas distribution pipelines from the Krutyanskaya GDS.
The meeting also addressed gas supply from LUKOIL’s fields in the Bolshekhetskaya Depression and the Northern Caspian Sea.
